Each glass in this set is decorated with the symbol of a season in Japan:

• Summer is represented by bluebell flowers.
• Autumn is represented by momiji, maple leaves.
• Winter is represented by plum blossoms, which bloom at the end of the Japanese winter.
• Spring is represented by cherry blossoms (sakura)
