ISHIZUKA GLASS started in Japan in 1819. In the 1960s we started producing glass tableware and named the brand “ADERIA” derived from the name of Adriatic Sea, known as one of the birthplace of the glass. Since then, we have produced long life design products, believed that only honest and timeless design would be never thrown away, and last beside of people forever.

Each product from Ishizuka Glass is meticulously handcrafted by experienced artisans using centuries-old craftsmanship. It undergoes multiple processes such as melting raw materials, free blowing, mold blowing, pattern forging, cooling, and polishing. Throughout the production process, any products that do not meet the standards are discarded, and it is precisely this unwavering commitment to quality that has made Ishizuka Glass products renowned as handmade masterpieces worldwide

The specially processed glass in this series evokes the imagery of sleet, combining with the traditional craft of Kutani ware from Ishikawa Prefecture. It represents a novel type of tableware that fuses modern processing techniques with traditional Kutani ware craftsmanship. Every pattern on the cup is hand-painted by Kutani ware artisans from Ishikawa Prefecture. The tulip-shaped protrusion on the cup allows the aroma of the sake to collect inside, enhancing its exquisite fragrance. The wide-mouthed, slender cup shape creates a smooth flow of alcohol, enhancing the refreshing drinking experience.
