ISHIZUKA GLASS started in Japan in 1819. In the 1960s we started producing glass tableware and named the brand “ADERIA” derived from the name of Adriatic Sea, known as one of the birthplace of the glass. Since then, we have produced long life design products, believed that only honest and timeless design would be never thrown away, and last beside of people forever.
Each product from Ishizuka Glass is meticulously handcrafted by experienced artisans using centuries-old craftsmanship. It undergoes multiple processes such as melting raw materials, free blowing, mold blowing, pattern forging, cooling, and polishing. Throughout the production process, any products that do not meet the standards are discarded, and it is precisely this unwavering commitment to quality that has made Ishizuka Glass products renowned as handmade masterpieces worldwide
These four uniquely colored glass cups draw inspiration from the natural textures found on Japanese fish: red snapper (pink cup), mackerel (green cup), flounder (charcoal cup), and bonito (purple cup). The colors are vivid, intricate, and filled with charm, all serving as poetic expressions of the beauty of Aomori Prefecture, where skilled glass artisans from Tsugaru Glass have creatively captured the essence.
